[size=3][font=新細明體] 清末，孟氏家族因支持革命被攝政王定罪，滿門抄斬。行刑當日，少年孟二奎（韓庚飾）僥倖被少年關一龍（吳尊飾）及其師傅大武生余勝英救下，倖免一死，自此拜師余勝英，與關一龍一起跟隨師父習武唱戲，兄弟兩人感情深厚。攝政王觀看余勝英演出，賜武生泰斗金匾，卻遭上海武生岳江天挑釁奪去金匾。[/font][font=SimSun][/font][/size]
[size=3][font=新細明體] 余勝英從此一蹶不振，一龍（吳尊飾）、二奎兄弟倆艱苦練武，誓為師父報仇。清朝末年，民國建立，兄弟倆長大學成，抱著為已故恩師復仇的念頭直奔上海灘，挑戰當時紅透半邊天的岳江天，嶽江天落敗不堪受辱當場自盡，兄弟倆奪回金匾。岳江天的女徒弟當家花旦席木蘭（徐熙媛飾）為保住岳家戲班，忍痛答應劇院老闆，與兄弟倆搭班唱戲。自此，他們三人捲入錯綜複雜的關係，展開一幕幕圍繞著愛情、欲望、欺詐和背叛的故事。[/font][font=SimSun][/font][/size]
